Of the four major rivers in the area: The Saco River, Ellis River, Branch River and the Cold River, only the Saco and Ellis rivers have condominium resorts. All four rivers have waterfront chalets, cottages and building lots still available. Each has its own character, and all of them are amazingly clean.

Kezar Lake is most popular in Western Maine, while Conway Lake is one of the most sought after in nearby NH. Both have the closest and most magnificent views of some of the highest peaks in the White Mountains in both states. And you'll also find many small ponds and relatively unknown lakes like Kimball Lake and Lovewell Pond that reflect and usually rival those same coveted views.
